It is so hard to believe that 2008 is already here!! 2007 was such a great year. I
was busier than I have been in many years.
I have completed my weight loss and I am feeling good and looking better than
I have for many years. For those of you who may be facing a battle with weight, I
want you to know that you can reach your goals. I never thought I could and the
Lord blessed me with the desires of my heart. Don't let your past keep you
from realizing success in your future.

Hello my sweet darlings,
This summer has been a very busy time. We have traveled all over
the country singing and having fun and we have a lot more to do
before the year is concluded.
I want to thank two very special organizations. First the North
Carolina College of Theology and their president, Dr. John L. Cook for
giving me a Doctorate Degree is Sacred Music. This was an honor
and words can not even begin to express my appreciation. Second,
to readers of the SGN Scoops Magazine Diamond Awards for the
2008 J. D. Sumner Living Legend Award. This award is extra special to
me because it is voted on by the fans. Industry awards are special
but when fans choose to bestow and honor of this magnitude it is
precious to me. I will forever be grateful.
All of you are aware that we had the task of dealing with the loss of
Dottie Rambo earlier this year. This has been very difficult but God is
being faithful to His promises. A special tribute recording is being
planned. Also, the Golden Girls of Gospel Tour will continue. Details
about the tour are forthcoming.
Keep this ministry in your prayers and join us at one of the concerts
listed on the "Tour" page.
